Canadian Freemasons

>> January 24, 2008

Freemasons CanadaCanada has a long history of Freemasonry and a great deal of famous and historically significant people have been members. Below I have started to compile a list of Canadian Brethren. This is currently a short list but it will be expanded and updated as time goes on.

  1. Sir John A. Macdonald
  2. Sir Robert L. Borden
  3. Alexander Dunn
  4. Miles Gilbert "Tim" Horton
  5. John Molson

Since you mentioned Molson, known today more for his brewing than banking, you should mention Sir Alexander Keith, who produced his own beer and was a Provincial Grand Master in Nova Scotia.
